Wet Felting the lakeland landscape

Wet Felting

The Lakeland landscape

Wet felting is a fascinating process that turns fleece into fabric and is a technique that has been around for hundreds of years. It allows a creative interpretation of the land around us in a three dimensional form. Our vessels capture colour and texture that is both subtle and warm, providing a unique feel for our sculptural work.

We can capture the earthy tones of an Autumnal fell, the bracken richly coloured under a rain slicked surface. Lakes, fells and then sky are represented in subtly felted landscapes that speak softly of the ever changing seasons.
